Crocheted triangular wrap with ombre effect. The body of the scarf is crocheted with a pattern of double crochets.

Stitches (US terms):
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
ss – slip stitch.
Edge: into ch space: 2dc, ch, 2dc
V1 – (dc, ch, dc) in one stitch
V2 – (2dc, ch, 2dc) in one stitch
V3 – (3dc, ch, 3dc) in one stitch
Picot – 3 ch, ss to the front 2 threads of the stitch below
Start in the narrow corner and gradually add stitches at one side of the wrap. On the other side of the wrap a decorative edge is formed. At the end of the row turn the work unless stated differently. Chart is available under he following link: Mango ice cream
Ombre ball – solid pattern
1.r.: 3ch, in the first ch crochet: dc, ch, 2 dc, turn.
2.r: 3 ch, dc to 2nd dc, ch, edge, turn (2 stitches in the body of the wrap)
3.r.: 3 ch, edge, above the space: ch, dc to the end of the row, to the 3rd ch of the previous row: 2 turn (3 stitches in the body of the wrap) – added 1 stitch.
- r: to the 1. dc: 3 ch + 2dc, dc to dc, until end of the body, ch, edge, turn (5 stitches in the body of the wrap) – added 2.
5.r: 3 ch, edge, above the space: ch, dc to the end of the row, to the 3rd ch of the previous row: 2 dc, turn (6 columns in the body of the wrap) – added 1
- r as r. 4 (8 columns in the body of the wrap)
- r as r. 5 (9 columns in the body of the wrap)
Repeat rows 4. and 5.
Starting from row 9. insert a pattern over 7 stitches. Work according to the chart.
Finish the body with a row of dc.
Last 2 special rows:
Special row 1: attach the yarn at the side with Edge (If you are with yarn at the Edge side, just continue): ch3, edge, ch, 2 ds, (skip 3, V3, skip 3, 2 dc) repeat till the end, add 1 sitch at the end, turn.
Special row 2: into ch space of V3 stitches from previous row and to the edge ch space: (sc, picot, sc), 7 sc between. If the work is wavy, reduce the “between” stitches to 6.
Sew in the threads, amend tassel to the narrow corner, if you wish. Done
