Blanket is knitted in one piece from thicker yarn. 3 shades of yarn are held together and form very nice effect. Main colors are magenta, red, pink, violet, claret and contras color is mustard

Material: in my case: acrylic yarn (100 g = 300 m) and very thin mohair yarn
2 strings of acrylic yarn and 1 string of mohair yarn are held together.
One stripe needs approx. 80 g of yarn.
Needles 6-7 mm, crochet hook 5 mm
Squares 20 stitches, 24 rows
Stitches:
E – Edge stitches
- at the beginning of rows: knit the first stitch from top
- At row end: pull the yarn in front of work, take last stitch from left to right needle from the top of the stitch
K – knit
P – purl
Sc (US terms) – single crochet
Pattern:
Cast on 162 stitches (2 edge stitches and 8 x 20 stitches for square pattern)
Stripe 1
Row 1 – 24: E, k20, p20, k20, p20, k20, p20, k20, p20, E
Divider: (mustard color)
Row 26 : E, k160, E
Row 27: E, p160, E
Stripe 2:
Row 28 – 52: E, p20. K20, p20, k20, p20, k20, p20, k20, E
Repeat stripes 1 and 2 and dividers, change colors. Finish the blanket with a row of sc in mustard color with hook 5 mm. Sew in the ends.
Make a round of sc around the blanket with hook nr. 5 and mustard yarn.
