Crochet Square from the series Stash Yarn Recycle 2022
I did not use the square in my yarn recycle projects, but it is compatible with the “Window to the Forest” blanket.

Material: 100% acrylic 100 g = cca 300 m
Colours:
Group A: Bold and vibrant shades of green, blue, turquoise
Group B: dark shades of blue, brown, petrol and green
Group C: light shades of beige, light brown, dirty-white, grey-blue, grey-green, light blue, icy blue

Ch – chain
ss- slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
bphdc – back post hdc
bpdc- back post dc
BL – back loop
sc2tog – 2 sc crochet together under 1 head
COR1 – sc, ch, sc
COR1A – beginning of the row: 3ch, sc
COR2 – hdc, 2 ch, hdc
COR2A – beginning of the row: ch, hdc, 2ch, hdc
COR3 – 2 dc, 2ch, 2 dc
COR3A – beginning of the row: 2ch, dc, 2ch,2dc
COR4 – 3dc, ch2, 3dc
COR4A – beginning of the row: 2ch, 2dc, 2ch, 3dc
Start with (A), 4ch into a ring or a magic ring start
1.r (C): 5ch, (3dc, 2ch) x 3, 2 dc, ss to 1st corner space
2.r (B): (COR1, bphdc to every stitch) x 4, ss to corner space (5 stitches on side)
3.r.(C): COR3A, (dc to every stitch on side, COR3) x 3, dc to every stitch on side, ss to 1st dc, ss to corner space (9 stitches on side)
4.r. (B): as 2.r (11 stitches on side)
5.r. (A): COR4A, ch, ((skip 2 stitches, ch) x 2, COR4) x 3, ch, (skip 2 stitches, ch) x 2, ss to 1st dc, ss to 2nd dc, ss to corner space
6.r. (A): COR4A, ch (3dc to next ch1 space, ch) x 3, COR4) x 3, ch (3dc to next ch1 space, ch) x 3, ss to 1st dc, ss to 2nd dc, ss to corner space
7.r. (A): COR4A, ch (3dc to next ch1 space, ch) x 4, COR4) x 3, ch (3dc to next ch1 space, ch) x 4, ss to 1st dc, ss to 2nd dc, ss to corner space
8.r. (B): COR3A, (dc to every stitch on side, COR3) x 3, dc to every stitch on side. After last dc crocheted, finish the row with invisible join, sew in the ends of yarns.
