I crocheted this blanket for my daughter 3 years ago as a Christmas present. Pattern is available free here. I chose 100% wool yarn and 4 mm hook. The blanket was remarkable success in my family, so I made one more – with different edge and color combination. Yarn used was Drops Karisma cream (6x), red(4x), burgundy (4x), light grey (6x), charcoal (4x).
