Soft scarf thanks to soft baby yarn inner part. You knit 2 scarves (mote work, I know), but the result is worth it. If you feel cold, pull the shawl on your head like a hood. If warm – just unwind and let it hang freely.                                                                               .

Yarn: (A) Scheepjes Stone washed 300 g for the outer part, (B)  Alize Softy 200 g for inner part

Needles: 3,5 mm for the outer part, 5 mm for inner part

Skill level: intermediate

Dimensions: length 140-145 cm – after sewing the short ends – cca 70 cm, width 27 cm

Crossing 8 stitches  left: 4 stitches to separate needle – place them in front of the work, k4, k the stitches from the needle.

Crossing 8 stitches  right: 4 stitches to separate needle, place them back of the work, k4, k the stitches from the needle.

Scarf

Cast on 66 stitches on 3,5 mm needles, less experienced knitters may mark the pattern parts with markers. Outer part is knitted according to patterns layout – until it measures 140-145 cm. My scarf has 6 repeats.

For the inner part cast on 30 stitches on 5 mm needles. Knit stockinette stitch until it measures 140-145 cm. Sew outer part together on short parts, Sew inner part as well. Lay inner and outer part with WS facing, pin the longitudinal edges together. Sew them together with yarn A using mattress stitch.
