Abbreviations (US terms):
Dc – double crochet
Sc – single crochet
Ch – chain
V stitch – dc, ch1, dc in one stitch
Crochet technique: All dcs are crocheted to both loops of previous row stitches. Rows begin with 2ch (1.st stitch in the row) and end with a slip stitch to first dc. The connecting chain forms the head of last dc in row. Please note that the beginning of rows will move every row 1 stitch ahead. By this project it is not a problem.
Oval
1-9 a 11.-13. Are crocheted with main color and with dcs
1.row: 14 ch, begin with half circle: 2ch, 6dc to 3rd ch from hook, continue on long part: 1dc to next ch, place a marker, 11 dc, place a marker to the last one, continue with half circle to the last ch: 12 dc in the last chain, continue on long part to the same chains opposite to the previous long part: 1 dc, place a marker, 11 dc, place a marker in the last stitch, connect the row with a chain to first dc.
You have now oval with 2 half circles of 14 stitches and 2 lines of 12 stitches – First and last of the line stitches are marked. I would recommend you use the markers for all rows, so you know where the beginning and end of the half circle is.
