Does it happen that you buy a yarn that you like, but then you don’t know what to do with it? Is it too colorful and the pattern does not show on it? Here is the solution. A scarf that will brighten up a black coat and you as well! It won’t take you long. The simple zigzag pattern is embellished by small, crocheted tassels.
Material: acrylic (or any other) yarn 100 g = 300 m 150 g
Scarf size: 21 x 200
Hook: 3,5 – 4 mm
Other tools: scissors, tapestry needle

Dc – double crochet
Ch – chain
Ss – slip stitch
Dc2tog – dc 2 together
Pattern
Cast on 291 ch (24 x 12 + 3), crochet forth and back, turning the work at the end of every row (This blanket has 24 peaks, 1 peak = 12 ch)
1.r: initial upper peak (dc into 4th ch), intermediate part: 3 dc, lower peak: 2xdc2tog, intermediate part: 3 dc, upper peak: (2dc in next stitch) x2. Repeat intermediate parts and peaks. The last peak: 2 dc in last ch.
2.-x r.: initial upper peak (ch3, dc to 1.dc), {intermediate part: 3 dc, lower peak: 2xdc2tog, intermediate part: 3 dc, upper peak: (2dc in next stitch) x2}x 23, intermediate part: 3 dc, lower peak: 2xdc2tog, intermediate part: 3 dc, 2 dc 3rd chain.
Repeat row 2 as many times as you wish to reach the desired width.
Do not cut the yarn but continue on short ends with tassels.
Tassels:
*5 ch, sc to 2.nd chain from hook, 3 sc, sc to scarf body (see the pictures). Repeat from * until the tassels are on whole short end.
It is no necessary to make tassels in every side row, I placed 12 tassels evenly across the width.
Make tassels on the other side of the scarf as well.
Cut the yarn and sew in the threads.
