Crocheted symmetrical wrap with ombre effect. The body of the wrap is crocheted with a pattern of double crochets. Lines with spaces and solid lines alternate. At the bottom of the scarf there is a border made of pink yarn, at the crotch there is a border with a fan pattern.

The wrap consists of a body and a decorative hem (edge). The body of the wrap is crocheted first. The pink border is added afterwards. On one side of the body there is a decorative edge, and on the other, alternately 1 and 2 stitches are added in each row. At the end of the row, turn the work. After crocheting approx. 71 rows, start to reduce the number of stitches on the side where you increased the stitches. Reduce by 2 and 1 stitch alternately.
Split the rainbow ball into 2 parts, one starts with pink, the other starts at the place where 3 threads of light gray and 1 thread of gray (744) begin.
Section I – solid pattern – grey yarn 744
Start in the narrow corner and gradually add 1 or 2 stitches at one side of the wrap. On the other side of the wrap a decorative edge is crocheted. At the end of the row turn the work.
1.r.: 3ch, in the first ch crochet: dc, ch, 2 dc,
2.r: 3 ch, dc to 2nd dc, ch, edge, turn (2 stitches in the body of the wrap)
3r: 3 ch, edge, above the space: ch, dc to the end of the row, to the 3rd ch of the previous row: 2 ds, turn (3 stitches in the body of the wrap) – added 1 stitch.
- r: to the 1. dc: (3 ch + 2dc), dc to dc, until end of the body, ch, edge, turn (5 stitches in the body of the wrap) – added 2
- r: 3 ch, edge, above the space: ch, dc to the end of the row, to the 3rd ch of the previous row: 2 dc, turn (6 stitches in the body of the wrap) – added 1
- r – 13.r. repeat rows 4 and 5
Section II – alterantion of solid pattern and pattern (dark grey from the ball – grey yarn 744 – adding stitches
Do not cut the yarn at the end of the row, let it flow along the work.
14.r: (dark grey from the ball): as 4.r.
15.r: (dark grey from the ball): 3 ch, E, ch over ch, 2 dc, (skip 1, V, skip 1) repeat till the end of the row, into last 2 dc from previous row: dc, 2 dc into the 3rd ch of previous row, turn
16.r: (grey 744) – as 4.r.
17.r.: (grey 744) – as 15. r.
Repeat until finished 55. r.
56.r.:(cut the grey 744 and attach from the ball the part 3 threads of grey and 1 thread of light grey – so the ball continues to very light grey)
Repeat the rows: 14. – 17. until finished row 71.
Section III – alterantion of solid pattern and pattern (continuing with yarns from the ball – reducing stitches
Crochet mirrorwise to the previous sections. Reduce the nr of stithes by 1 or 2 every row.
When the ligh grey yarn is over, attach unicolor yarn 741, when the grey yarn is over, attach unicolor yarn 744
Decorative hem
Attach the dark pink from the pink ball to the ch space after the E.
1.r. row of sc. Crochet 2 sc into one side row. The nr. of sc at one side is dividable by 8 + 4, 1 sc is over the center.
2.-11. r: continue according to the scheme.
12.r: picot row: Crochet the picot to every ch space of the V. Crochet 8 sc between picots. If the edge is wavy, reduce the nr. of sc.
Cut the yarn sew in the ends.
