Tajch (lake) Velka Vodarenska is a lake situated on the hill over Banska Stiavnica (city in Central Slovakia known for its mining history). The lake has extraordinary color. By sunny weather it is bright turquoise, by cloudy weather dark turquoise, by down petrol.

Crocheted scarf with a zigzag pattern. An interesting pattern is created by alternating 2 rows of solid color and 2 rows of yarn with long color transitions. The scarf is completed with tassels at the peaks.

Material: thin yarn 150 g light green (Alize Angora gold nr. 267), 100 g tyrkys yarn with ombre effect (MTP Angora batik nr. 855)

Cast on 100 ch (4×24 + 1 + 3), crochet forth and back, turning the work at the end of every row.
1.r: (light green): initial upper peak (dc into 4th ch), intermediate part: 10 dc, lower peak: dc2tog, intermediate part: 10 dc, upper peak: (dc, ch, dc) in next stitch. Repeat intermediate parts and peaks. The last peak: 2 dc in last stitch
2.r: (light green): initial upper peak (ch3, dc to 1.dc), intermediate part: 10 dc, lower peak: dc2tog, intermediate part: 10 dc, upper peak: (dc, ch, dc) in next stitch. Repeat intermediate parts and peaks. The last peak: 2 dc to the 3rd ch of previous row ch3
3.-4.r: (ombre yarn)- repeat rows 1-2

Repeat rows 1-4 as many times as you wish, or until you have yarn, finish with 2 rows of green.
Add tassels to the peaks.
