This blanket is a project divided to parts, the so-called CAL (crochet along) or MAL (make along), a project that consists of sub-projects (parts) that are finally folded into a blanket (or other product), with an added edge or other elements. The CAL or MAL is announced in advance, so you have enough time to purchase the yarn and necessary tools. The sub-sections are published according to a time schedule so that participants can work virtually together and can share the pictures and contact the designer if they have any questions. Some projects are free, some are only available for the duration of the project and some need to be purchased. Here I would like to introduce you my crochet blanket done under a project “Nuts about Squares” that ran in 2017. Patterns are free.
