Crocheted rainbow ball wrap. The wrap has the shape of a symmetrical triangle. It is crocheted from the center as a half square. Solid rows and pattern rows are alternating.

Stitches (US terminology)
ch – chain
sc – single croche
dc – double crochet
tr – triple crochet
V – (dc, ch, dc) into one stitch
W – (2dc, ch, 2dc) into one stitch
Ss – slip stitch
Picot – 3 ch, to the front 2 threads of the sc unde the pilot
S = Center: 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc
Instructions
Start from the top in the middle of the scarf. At the end of the row, turn the work over. At the beginning and at the end of the row add 2 stitches, in the middle add 2 stitches on each side and make 2 ch.
2 rows with a solid pattern and 2 rows with a perforated pattern are alternating.

Rainbow cake:
1.r: 4 ch, (2 dc, 2 ch, 3 dc) into the first ch
2.r. (3ch, 2 dc) to the 1. stitch, dc to every side stitch till the center, S, dc dc to every side stitch, (2 dc, tr) to the 3rd ch of previous row
3.r. as 2.r.
4.r. (3ch, 2 dc) to the 1. stitch, skip 2, (W, skip 4) repeat on side till the center. In the center add 2 stitches (continuing in the pattern), 2 ch (= center), at other side symmetrically add 2 stitches and continue with the pattern till the end, (2 dc, tr) to the 3rd ch of previous row.
5.r.: (3ch, V) to the 1. stitch, (2 ch, V to the W ch space) repeat on side till the center. In the center add 2 stitches (continuing in the pattern), 2 ch (= center), at other side symmetrically add 2 stitches and continue with the pattern till the end, (2 dc, tr) to the 3rd ch of previous row.
Repeat rows 2 – 5 together 9 times.
Repeat rows 2 -3
2 rows with unicolor yarn 2 rows with rainbow cake

Rainbow cake: repeat rows 4 and 5
Final row with picots: 2 sc, (sc to the ch1 space, picot, 4 sc) repeat along both sides. In the center crochet a sc and picot to ch2 space.
